What size alb do you need?
Albs are usually sized by height. A classic alb for a priest of 170-180 cm is about 145-155 cm long, falling just above the ankles. Measure from the neck to the ankle, add 10-15 cm for the hem, and compare with the maker's size chart. Altar servers' albs follow the same logic in children's and youth sizes.
Which fabrics are best for an alb?
Cotton is comfortable and breathable for daily use. Linen is the classic liturgical fabric, cool in warm climates and crisp in appearance. Polyester blends are easy to care for and wrinkle-resistant.
